Our Black Forest ham is produced using a gentle natural maturing process: the ham matures over several months in smoking and resting chambers. The Black Forest air, the secret spice mixture and the fir smoke make this ham a very special Black Forest specialty!
This hearty raw ham is cut from the nut and hip of the pork leg and is a must on every snack plate. Its dark fir smoke color and red core color create a beautiful contrast. It gets its typical taste from the strong smoking and secret seasoning.
The product complies with the requirements for the protected geographical indication (PGI) “Black Forest Ham”.
